Clariant reinforces exciting potential of plastics for China's automotive producers
Muttenz, September 3, 2014 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, is introducing China's local automotive and transportation industry players to solutions which enhance lightweight plastics for under-the-hood, interior and exterior parts, in support of their increasing interest in using plastics and polymer-based components to achieve greater fuel efficiency.
Perstorp, a world leader in specialty chemicals, such as Capa™, will be highlighting at UTECH Asia/PU China 2014 its growing commitment to China as the company's production platform in Zibo is being expanded to include a new Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) plant. The investment represents a triumph of Chinese and Swedish engineering not only in the production of high quality Neo, but in terms of plant and environmental safety.
Polyscope has broadened its portfolio of XIRAN® neat resins, compounds, powders and liquids with a range of XERAN® compatibilizers. The maleic anhydride functionality in these XERAN copolymers and terpolymers makes them extremely suitable as a compatibilizer and coupling agent in many applications. 
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, will introduce new high performance polyamides at the Fakuma plastics processing exhibition being held in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 14 to 18. The company will also be demonstrating how its materials have been used in some of the latest application innovations to be introduced to the market, and it will provide a sneak preview of the new R&D facilities in the Netherlands. DSM is on stand 4408 in Hall B4.
