Borealis Film and Fibre Vice President Harald Hammer has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Borouge Pte Ltd as of January 1, 2007, replacing Hubert Puchner. Puchner, who after five years of leading Borouge through a period of strong growth, will take up the post of Executive Vice President of AgroLinz Melamine International (AMI) in Linz, Austria, managing the company’s global melamine business. He will remain a member of the Borouge Board.

OMV, Central Europe's leading oil and gas group, continues to focus on its core business: Exploration & Production, Refineries & Marketing and Gas. In this context OMV, together with its core shareholder International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), is planning on incorporating AMI Agrolinz Melamine International GmbH (AMI), one of the leading international producers of melamine and plant nutrients into Borealis. OMV and IPIC each hold 50% of AMI. The final decision will be made in the course of the first half of 2007.

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) announced a 7-9% increase of European selling prices on all tin stabilizers, a 5% increase on all mixed metals stabilizers and a 5 Eurocent increase on all plasticizers for all package sizes, effective immediately or as contract terms permit. The increase is due to higher raw material costs. Customers having questions are asked to contact their account representatives.
