LNP INTRODUCES FOUR NEW VERTON® LONG FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITES MATERIALS
BERGEN OP ZOOM – June 23, 2003 – LNP Engineering Plastics, a GE Plastics Company (NYSE: GE) headquartered in Exton, Pa., announced that it has added four new products to its family of VERTON® long fiber reinforced composites. LNP developed the new materials – VERTON XENOY®, VERTON WF Series, VERTON MFX Concentrate, and VERTON UF composites – to offer additional high-performance product options to design engineers in a wide variety of markets and applications.

A European First – Eastman Kelvx Shining Through the Dark New Headquarters Signage Made From Eastman Chemical Company
KINGSPORT, Tenn., Nov. 20, 2003 – There is no doubt that Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) has set up shop near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Visitors to the Capelle aan den IJssel area cannot miss the large red Eastman sign on top of the company’s new regional headquarters facility. The sign is made of Eastman’s Kelvx resin, the first such use for outdoor signage in Europe.
KINGSPORT, Tenn., Nov. 20, 2003 –U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Clifford M. Sobel, dedicated Eastman Chemical Company’s (NYSE: EMN) newly constructed regional headquarters in Capelle aan den IJssel, in ceremonies held today at the new facility near Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Eastman Chemical Company has announced the appointment of Vincent Gugumus to the newly created post of Marketing Manager Cosmetics for Eastman in Europe. This appointment is effective immediately.
