Clariant Oil Services to present at 2016 SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition
Houston, TX, September 1, 2016 – Clariant Oil Services today announced that it will present two technical papers at the Society of Petroleum Engineers Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (SPE ATCE), September 26 - 28, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE. In addition, a Clariant representative will co-chair one of the technical sessions, further demonstrating Clariant’s leadership in specialty chemicals and services.

New SiVance® C2010 Resin for Epoxy-Silicone Formulations Ups Durability of Protective Coatings in Harsh Conditions
Ghent, Belgium – SiVance, LLC, a subsidiary of Milliken & Company, today introduced SiVance® C2010 resin, a new reactive silicone technology designed to create highly durable epoxy-silicone hybrid coating formulations. Specifically, this unique, high-performance material helps extend the flexibility and impact resistance of protective coatings used in harsh operating environments such as undersea drilling, hydraulic fracturing and chemical manufacturing. Compared to coatings made with competitive products, hybrid formulations featuring SiVance C2010 resin enable formulators to help their customers avoid the cracking, delamination and blistering that lead to corrosion and failure of metal pipes, tanks and equipment.
Munich, June 21, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals and one of the foremost suppliers of zeolite powders and catalysts, will be presenting at the 18th International Zeolite Conference, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from June 19 to 24, 2016. The six-day event will focus on “Zeolites for a Sustainable World”, with the aim of exploring novel means of using zeolites to reduce environmental pollutants. Accordingly, and on behalf of the Clariant R&D team, Dr. Silke Sauerbeck will present very recent research and findings regarding new zeolite solutions for adsorption of automobile VOC emissions. 
Munich, June 9, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today reported the excellent performance of its catalysts during the successful start-up of the largest propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in South Korea. Located in Ulsan on the southeast coast of the country, the PDH plant is a joint project between SK Gas Corporation Ltd and Advanced Petrochemical Company. The facility is designed to produce 600,000 tons of propylene annually using CB&I's Catofin® catalytic dehydrogenation technology, which is based on Clariant's Catofin catalyst.
