Syensqo achieves certification for its digital product carbon footprint (PCF) method

Perstorp launches synthetic fluids portfolio for high-performance lubricants
Perstorp, a leading global innovator in specialty chemicals and a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), announces the launch of its new portfolio of saturated synthetic polyol esters. The range includes three high-performing synthetic esters - Perstorp Synthetic-EF 5, Synthetic-EF 15, and Synthetic-EF 22 - developed to meet the evolving technical, environmental, and performance demands of the lubricant industry. This launch marks the next step towards becoming a recognized leader and supplier of specialty chemicals to the growing synthetic lubricants market.
Perstorp and BRB, wholly-owned subsidiaries of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad, inaugurated a new innovation hub in Shanghai, China. This advanced laboratory opened on April 17th and will support growth in the region by increasing technical support for customers with a specific focus on the Asian market. The new Shanghai innovation hub will allow faster response time to our customers and combine technical expertise with a strong focus on product and application development as well as technical services, strengthening regional customer relationships with dedicated regional support. It is one of several planned initiatives in the region to enhance innovation capabilities along the value chain and to strengthen PCG’s position as a leader within specialty chemicals.

Leading global specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), today announced Perstorp Holding AB has acquired 100 percent of the shares of OQ Chemicals Nederland B.V. from OQ Chemicals GmbH. The deal provides Sweden-based Perstorp with full ownership and control over all of the Dutch company’s production assets, related technology and employees.
