Omron will be at the EuroPack-EuroManut-CFIA event in Lyon, from 21-23 November, demonstrating how it can create smart, flexible production facilities that help customers stay competitive and prepare for the future. The system on show at the Omron stand (Hall 6, stand H76-I75) combines different applicative demos and uses ‘smart’ data to deliver tailored production efficiency to meet actual demand.

East Aurora, NY, USA, October 18, 2017 – Moog (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), a designer and manufacturer of high performance motion control products, solutions, has earned a safety certification from TÜV Rheinland for the new Moog Pitch Servo Drive 3. TÜV Rheinland is a global testing service provider and specialist for functional safety. Moog’s new Pitch System 3 is responsible for guaranteeing the safe operation of wind turbines. The feathering safety function supplied by the Moog Pitch System 3 Servo Drive alters a wind turbine’s blade pitch at the rotor hub to minimize the torque applied by the wind, avoiding excessive speed of the turbine. As a result, the pitch servo drive is classified as a safety component.
At this year’s Fakuma in Friedrichshafen KRAIBURG TPE will present a new series of Thermoplastic Elastomers that were specially developed for excellent adhesion and UV resistance in two-component applications with ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM). The new compounds of the THERMOLAST® K family are intended primarily for automotive applications such as EPDM window trim and sealing profiles with moulded TPE corner joints and end elements.
