AMSTERDAM, July 13, 2009 – Moog’s Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A), announced that Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has placed an order for a 160-channel test controller system to perform full-scale fatigue testing on the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. Moog is a leader in providing high-performance testing systems to the aviation, aerospace and automotive markets.

AMSTERDAM, July 10, 2009 – Moog Industrial Group, a part of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), has put in place a high performance electric actuation solution that operates the newly installed retractable roof above Wimbledon’s Centre Court. Wimbledon’s staff closed the 1,100-metric-ton (1,212.50 tons) roof for the first time in competition on Monday, June 29 after a light rain stopped play during the second set of a match at Centre Court.

Ford has selected Arnitel TPC from DSM Engineering Plastics for the production of vacuum brake tubes for its recently launched new Ford Fiesta. In doing so, Ford has acknowledged the advantages of Arnitel for this specific application. Ford already uses Arnitel in similar applications in a number of its models: Ford Mondeo, Ford S-Max, Ford C-Max, Ford Galaxy and Ford Focus.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 10, 2009 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded Clariant its New Chemicals Program P2 Recognition Project Award for the company’s Exolit® OP 560, a new-generation non-halogenated flame-retardant. The product, is made by Clariant’s Pigments & Additives Division for polyurethane foams in automotive, furniture and consumer applications.
