Belden is the world’s first supplier to introduce an Industrial WLAN system supporting the recently adopted IEEE 802.11n transmission standard with data transfer rates comparable to those in wired Fast Ethernet networks. The WLAN access point, which is offered in an IP40 (BAT300-Rail) and an IP65/67 (BAT300-F) version, supports the new IEEE802.11n transmission standard adopted in September 2009, providing data transfer rates of up to 300 Mbit/s.

21 december, 2009 – IP-beveiliging en Unified Threat Management (UTM) specialist Clavister heeft de hardware van de Security Gateway (SG) 4300 Serie nog verder verbeterd. Deze high performance UTM beveiligingsoplossing kan nu uitgerust worden met een redundante energievoorziening en ventilatormodule. Deze nieuwe opties zorgen voor nog meer betrouwbaarheid en een constante energieverzorging voor de bedrijfskritische toepassingen van Clavister klanten.
T-CONN, one of the major local connector manufacturer in Taiwan, has selected Stanyl® ForTii™ as the halogen-free housing material for its wide range of battery connectors. Stanyl Fortii not only meets the stringent material requirements of SMT soldering technology, it also offers outstanding performance in dimensional stability, full compliance to JEDEC MSL level 2, high toughness and extreme pin retention forces. As a result, Stanyl ForTii leads to a significant reliability improvement versus LCPs (Liquid Crystal Polymers) and to better processing compared to PPAs. Following the approval in battery connectors, T-CONN has started to expand the usage of Stanyl ForTii also to their FPC product line.
