Solvay to Showcase Comprehensive Materials Portfolio at Semicon Taiwan 2022
Solvay, a leading global supplier of specialty materials, is taking the opportunity of this year’s Semicon Taiwan show in Taipei to present its advanced materials portfolio for the global semiconductors industry. From September 14 to 16 at Booth N0584, the company will highlight its comprehensive offering of specialty polymers and chemicals covering all stages of front-end-of-line (FEOL) and back-end-of-line (BEOL) semiconductor manufacturing, testing and assembly.
Today, DSM Engineering Materials announces the launch of a new, more sustainable version of its flagship product Stanyl®: Stanyl® B-MB (Bio-based Mass Balanced), with up to 100% bio-based content. Using the maximum possible levels of biomass-waste feedstock, it enables DSM Engineering Materials to halve the carbon footprint of this product line and, in turn, of the Stanyl® B-MB-based products of its customers. This industry-first launch of a 100% bio-based high-temperature polyamide underlines the business’s ongoing commitment to helping customers fulfil their sustainability ambitions by making planet-positive choices and supporting the transition to a circular and bio-based economy.
DOMO Chemicals, a sustainable polyamide player, will exhibit at K 2022 in Düsseldorf. This will be the first opportunity for customers to experience the global TECHNYL® polyamide portfolio since the disruption of COVID-19.

Solvay has announced that its Solef® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymers plant at Tavaux, France, has received IATF 16949:2016 accreditation for its quality management system. Building on the previously announced PVDF capacity increase at Tavaux site, making it the largest PVDF production site in Europe, this major achievement covers the design and production of PVDF battery-related applications within the automotive industry. This IATF 16949:2016 Certificate of Approval has been issued by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Group Limited (LRQA), a leading global assurance provider recognized in more than 120 countries around the world.
