Perstorp strengthens its sustainable offerings with world’s first 100% renewable-based polyols with negative carbon footprint
Leading specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp has launched new grades for two base polyols that are now available with 100% renewable, mass-balanced carbon content. When including the biogenic CO2 uptake from the renewable raw materials, the products will have a negative carbon footprint at the Perstorp gate. Based on a traceable mass-balance concept, Neeture™ N100 (neopentyl glycol) and Evyron™ T100 (trimethylolpropane) are designed to reduce the carbon footprint throughout the value chain and to support the sustainable sourcing of renewable and recycled raw materials.

Archroma completes acquisition of the textile effects business of Huntsman Corporation
Archroma, a global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals and solutions for industries such as textiles, packaging & paper, paints and coatings, today announced the closing of the acquisition of the Textile Effects business from Huntsman Corporation (“Huntsman Textile Effects”).
The new Heubach Group, a market leader in diversified organic and inorganic pigments and preparations will unveil an innovative and exciting range of new products and tools at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg, Germany 27-28 March 2023. One year after Heubach and Clariant BU pigments joined forces, Heubach’s team will also be on-site, sharing their expertise and market insights at Heubach’s Experts Corner.
Archroma, a global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals and solutions for industries such as textiles, packaging & paper, paints and coatings, today announced that it has secured all regulatory approvals required to complete the acquisition of the Textile Effects business from Huntsman Corporation (“Huntsman Textile Effects”).
The Heubach Group, a leading provider of comprehensive color solutions has partnered with Lintech International LLC to distribute its portfolio of organic, inorganic, and anti-corrosive pigments, including their ranges of pigment dispersions in the United States. This new announcement expands the partnership to now include both portfolios from Heubach Colorants USA LLC (formerly Clariant Pigments) and Heubach Ltd. for the coatings, plastics, and printing segments in the US. Effective February 5, 2023, coatings, plastics, and printing customers can procure the full range of Heubach products from Lintech International LLC.
Sustainable solutions provider Perstorp has added new corporate sustainability targets, for water and waste, to its sustainability strategy. Its long-term sustainability ambition is to become Finite Material Neutral, which involves water and waste, along with raw materials, energy and catalysts. In 2021 the company set its first 2030 targets, for greenhouse gas emissions (using approved science-based targets) and (eco) toxic impact. Now Perstorp has added new sustainability targets that will address its long-term ambition.
