Clariant doubles capacity for pigments and pigment preparations in Roha, India
Muttenz, September 17, 2014 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the inauguration of an important new extension to its production facility in Roha, south-east of Mumbai, India. The expansion doubles its capacity at the facility for pigments and pigment preparations. This higher output will enable the company to increase its market coverage in India and the neighboring countries of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and to provide products better tailored to customer needs.

Reinach, 28 July 2014 - Archroma, a global leader in color and specialty chemicals, and the former textile, paper and emulsions businesses of Clariant, will put sustainability and high-performance on display with its latest papermaking innovations at the PTS Paper & Board Symposium from September 17 to 18, 2014, in Munich, Germany.
Effective August 1st, 2014, Azelis announces that it will extend its co-operation with Allnex, a leading manufacturer of performance materials for all coating applications. For the first time, Azelis will offer the complete range of Allnex liquid resins, additives and cross linkers across Germany and Austria for selected customers. Previously Azelis only distributed part of the product range in Germany.
Ghent, Belgium - SiVance, LLC, a subsidiary of Milliken & Company, today unveiled SiVance® C1008 Curative, a new silicone curative that significantly improves the durable flexibility of epoxy polysiloxane protective topcoats in marine and infrastructure applications, without sacrificing weatherability. The development of this new curative technology solves a major challenge common to epoxy polysiloxanes: brittleness and cracking that can develop over time as the coating cures.
