Reverdia and Helm partner for Biosuccinium™ distribution and market development in Europe
Reverdia, a joint venture between DSM and Roquette, and Helm have signed an agreement for the European distribution and joint market development of Reverdia's Biosuccinium™ sustainable succinic acid. The partnership will build on Helm's strong position in Europe as a marketing enterprise and distributor for a wide portfolio of chemical products, and Reverdia's emerging leadership position for the commercialization of renewable succinic acid.

Azelis Coatings extends its partnership with Momentive in Russia
Azelis announces their appointment as distributor by leading producer Momentive, to service the Coatings sector in Russia. From October 1st 2012, Azelis offers Momentive's high quality range of water based dispersions for paints, under the well known brand name AXILAT™.
On October 1st, Azelis announced the sale of its international Composites business to VELOX GmbH who has acquired this business in its entirety. As a result, VELOX will take over and manage the Composites business and its employees, effective October 1st, 2012.
A collaboration between Proviron and Reverdia has resulted in the introduction of Provichem® 2511 Eco, a Di-Methyl-Succinate (DMS) that can be used as a solvent and a raw material for fine chemicals such as pigments and UV stabilizers. Biosuccinium™ is made from renewable resources and has a much better carbon footprint than several other fossil based chemicals - such as adipic acid or the petrochemical version of succinic acid.

In addition, Clariant will be highlighting a number of high-impact special effects and an additive masterbatch developed specifically to eliminate the need for a separate coating process in certain medical applications.
