Dureal™ introduceert complete AdBlue™ oplossing voor de internationale vervoerssector
Dureal™, een dochterbedrijf van Univar NV, ‘s werelds grootste distributeur van chemische grondstoffen, presenteert tijdens de Carrosserie Vakdagen in Rijswijk, op 8, 9 en 10 september, een totaaloplossing voor het tanken van AdBlue™. Op de Dureal stand vinden bezoekers aan de beurs een overzicht van de beschikbare opslag- en vulunits, en uitgebreide informatie over de Euro IV en Euro V normen en de oplossingen die Dureal transporteurs kan bieden om aan de nieuwe normen te voldoen.
Dureal™ , a business unit of Univar N.V., the leading independent chemical distributor in the world, and IDS in Sweden, which operates diesel refuelling and service centres for commercial road haulage across Europe, have jointly established the first public tank facilities for AdBlue™ at the Volvo Truck Centre at Kungens Kurva, Sweden. Opening ceremonies of this first site took place on June 29, 2004. AdBlue filling stations were previously introduced in Austria and Germany earlier this year.
Sweden-based specialty-chemicals company, Perstorp, today introduced, Polygiene™ a new series of antiviral and antimicrobial molding compounds to make a wide variety of electrical devices such as light switches and switch plates; sanitary ware such as toilet seats; as well as items like door handles, hand rails, baby changing tables, lift buttons, pens and public phones “Safe to Touch.” A patent-pending formulation in the compounds is the first tested and proven to kill the SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV) on contact. It also kills a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. This new technology, combined with high levels of personal hygiene and a commitment to cleanliness best practices in such high-risk public places as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and public transportation, as well as in private residences, can help reduce the risk of spreading disease.
In a move that has further focused its efforts on delivering value to customers, Univar Ltd has consolidated its operations by creating a dedicated sales and services contact for the specialist personal care and pharmaceutical markets. In place since 1 January, the new organization is already making a positive contribution to improved customer services.
