Global Clariant initiative to offer improved sustainability to the paper industry
Muttenz, September 29, 2010 - Clariant’s new initiative designed to support efforts by its customers in the paper industry to improve the sustainability of their own products and manufacturing processes will provide certified products, expertise and relevant safety data.
Muttenz, September 27, 2010 - The paint industry is on the constant look-out for sustainable solutions that improve performance and increase customer choice. Such a solution is available with Genapol® ED3060, a wetting agent for emulsion paints from Clariant that has outstanding wetting and low foaming properties at very low addition levels. It improves the compatibility of binders with numerous organic pigments that are difficult to disperse in the paint, making it easier to formulate a wide range of paint colours.
Stanyl® PA46 was selected by AVX Corporation for a new robust and reliable connection system for use in high reliability and harsh environments for wire-to-board applications. This is a new application for Stanyl in the emerging Solid State Lighting market.
