Geertse, whose training is in commercial economics and port and transport management, brings 23 years of shipping and container operations’ knowledge and expertise to the job. His recent experience includes 11 years in a senior management post with the EWL/Europe West Indies Lines and before that with Hamburg Sud.

DSM Engineering Plastics has announced the launch of Stanyl® LED 1551, the latest grade of Stanyl used in plastic lead chip carriers (PLCC) for high brightness LED’s. These LED’s are conventionally selected for back lighting LCD display panels used in Mobile phones, PDAs, notebook PCs and hand held devices.
