科學儀器公司Thermo Fisher Scientific正式起航
(2006年12月8日) 2006年11月27日，原熱電科學儀器公司和飛世爾科學公司在北京聯合召開新聞發佈會，宣佈雙方的合併完成，新的實體Thermo Fisher Scientific正式宣告成立。此次新聞發佈會是Thermo Fisher成立後的全球第一個新聞發佈會，同時也揭開了公司總裁兼首席執行官Marijn E Dekkers中國之行的序幕。當天，有近60家來自儀器、醫療、生物、化工、環境、醫藥和電子等行業媒體及經濟類媒體出席了發佈會。

Milliken Chemical opens new European microbiology laboratory bringing faster, one-stop microbiology support to European customers
As a result of continued growth and market acceptance for the Alphasan® silver inorganic antimicrobial technology, Milliken Chemical Europe (a business unit of Milliken Europe N.V.) has invested in a new Microbiology Laboratory, to expand their technical service offering to customers.
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase worldwide delivered bulk elemental bromine pricing up to 20%, on and after December 5, 2006, where contracts allow. Brominated derivative products will increase accordingly.
