These increases help to restore Chemtura’s Flame Retardants business to reinvestment economics and to capture the full value of elemental bromine. This reinvestment is essential to ensure a reliable supply chain; to fund research into future technology; and to support on-going product advocacy programs.

Brenntag Oil & Gas Europe has recently been SCC** certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance for its HSE working procedures. SCC**, which stands for Safety Checklist Contractors, is an international safety checklist to demonstrate that a contractor is in compliance with key requirements according to national HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) legislation. The checklist is applied and recognized in several EU member states.
