Omron demonstrates how smart data boosts process efficiency at CFIA
Omron will be at the CFIA event in Rennes, from 13-15 March, demonstrating how it can create smart production facilities that help solve the challenges faced by today’s food and beverage industry. Omron’s complete robotics and automation system delivers greater flexibility to deal with increasing SKU numbers, together with better data collection and reporting. The system on show at the Omron stand (Hall 2 Booth A4-B3) combines different applications and uses ‘smart’ data to deliver tailored production efficiency to meet actual demand.
Belden, Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, has released the latest version of the Tofino Xenon Security Appliance Release 3.2, which supports the new Tofino Xenon Generic Object-Oriented System Events (GOOSE) Enforcer Loadable Security Module (LSM). The plug-in security module ensures data packets are delivered in a secure and scalable manner.

TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has launched a new range of M12 rail connectors for field assembly. The M12 X-Code Series connectors enable data transmission rates of up to 10 Gb per second (according to IEC 802.3an Cat 6a), their full-metal shells provide all-round shielding against EMI/RFI interference, and they are sealed against dust and water to IP67 level. Intended applications include data and sensor networks, train door control assemblies and rail vehicle HVAC systems.
