AVERY DENNISON LAUNCHES FASSON S2065 HOT MELT ADHESIVE: IDEAL SOLUTION FOR LOW-TEMPERATURE FOOD PACKAGING LABEL APPLICATIONS
Leiden, The Netherlands - Avery Dennison has developed a new hotmelt adhesive for its self-adhesive labelstocks specifically formulated for cool-temperature air-blown label dispensing, particularly in the food packaging industry. Fasson S2065 combines high tack with strong ultimate adhesion characteristics on a variety of substrates -- including apolar films, sausage casings, stretch PVC and PE and modified atmosphere films -- at temperatures as low as 1-10 deg C.

NEW FASSON LABELSTOCK ADDS A SUBTLE SPARKLE TO WINE LABELS
Leiden, The Netherlands - Fasson MC Perlé -- a special wet-strength pearlescent facestock -- is the latest addition to the Fasson range of self-adhesive materials for wine labelling. The visual impact of the labels has also enabled Kolibri, of ’s-Heerenberg, to scoop two major prizes in the prestigious annual International Label Competition organised by the self-adhesive label industry’s international association, FINAT: the overall group prize for marketing/end use labels as well as the category prize for the best cosmetics labels.
