Mars, SABIC and Landbell partner in closed loop initiative for KIND® snack bar packaging based on certified circular PP
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry has joined forces with MARS and Landbell in an advanced recycling project designed to close the loop on flexible packaging using certified circular polypropylene (PP) from the company’s TRUCIRCLE™ portfolio. In a joint initiative with major market players, biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film based on SABIC’s certified circular PP from feedstock recycling of post-consumer, used plastics will be introduced by Mars in the packaging of their KIND® primary healthy snack bar brand.

SABIC, l’un des leaders mondiaux de l'industrie chimique, répond aux enjeux de l’industrie de l’emballage en présentant une vaste gamme de matériaux et de technologies de pointe au salon K 2022 , démontrant ainsi la possibilité d’associer une éco-compatibilité exceptionnelle avec d’excellentes caractéristiques de longévité et d’esthétique. Les produits et échantillons exposés au stand D42 du hall 6 du salon, qui se tient du 19 au 26 octobre à Düsseldorf (Allemagne), s’inscrivent étroitement dans le programme TRUCIRCLE™ de SABIC et illustrent comment des partenariats industriels spécifiques accélèrent l’instauration d’une véritable économie circulaire sans compromettre la performance des produits.
