SABIC erweitert sein Portfolio an chemikalienbeständigen LNP™ CRX-Copolymeren, um Kunden in den Branchen Industrie und Mobilität bei der Entwicklung langlebiger Produkte zu unterstützen
SABIC, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen in der chemischen Industrie, wird diese Woche auf der in München stattfindenden Messe „The smarter E Europe 2023‘ (Stand #B6.115) neue LNP™ CRX-Copolymerharze vorstellen. Diese Spezialharze bieten Kunden in den Bereichen Mobilität und Industrie neue Materialoptionen, die sowohl scharfen Chemikalien als auch anspruchsvollen Umweltbedingungen standhalten können. Die neuen spezialisierten LNP CRX-Produkte auf der Basis von Polycarbonat (PC)-Copolymeren bieten die chemische Beständigkeit, die von diesem Portfolio erwartet wird, kombiniert mit außerordentlicher Witterungsbeständigkeit (UL74C F1-Einstufung, Niedertemperaturduktilität und die Fähigkeit, großer Hitze und starker Feuchtigkeit standzuhalten). Diese Eigenschaften können dazu beitragen, die Lebensdauer von Komponenten wie Ladesteckdosen für Elektrofahrzeuge (EV) und Gehäusen für Batteriespeicherausrüstungen im Freien zu verbessern.

Project Air granted environmental permit
The Land and Environment Court at Vänersborg District Court in Vänersborg, Sweden, has granted a changed environmental permit for Perstorp´s chemical plant in Stenungsund to allow for the production of more sustainable methanol. Perstorp sought the changed permit to enable the implementation of its Project Air initiative, due to be commissioned at the end of 2026. The permit also includes construction and operation of an electrolysis plant for the production of hydrogen.
