Polyscope is the global leader in research, product development, production, and supply of styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) copolymers, compounds, and aqueous solutions and styrene maleic anhydride N-phenylmaleimide (SMANPMI) terpolymers. The company offers a broad range of SMA and SMANPMI co- and terpolymers and compounds for engineering plastic and specialty chemical applications under the trade names XIRAN® and XILOY™. Resins can be created with a very broad range of molar mass and levels of maleic anhydride. For engineering plastics, SMA/ABS-based compounds with a broad range of impact modification and glass-fiber loading levels can be produced. For specialty-chemical applications, low-molecular weight XIRAN-based resins and solutions are chemically modified to meet customer needs. A global customer base is supported from corporate headquarters by production and research & development conducted in Geleen, The Netherlands, and with local compounding, contract manufacturing facilities and sales and marketing support in Europe, North America, and Asia. Polyscope Polymers integriert globales SMA-Geschäft von Total Cray Valley
Polyscope Polymers B.V. (Geleen, Niederlande) hat die operative Integration des globalen Stryrol-Maleinsäure-Anhydrid- (SMA®) Copolymergeschäfts der Cray Valley S.A., Cray Valley HSC Asia Ltd, Cray Valley (Guangzhou) Chemical Co. Ltd. und Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. (zusammen kurz „Cray Valley“) abgeschlossen. Cray Valley war der weltweite Marktführer im Bereich niedermolekularer (LMW) SMA® Produkte und Hauptwettbewerber der Geschäftseinheit Specialty Chemicals von Polyscope. Die Übernahme umfasste den Transfer des gesamten SMA® Portfolios, Lagerbestands, Anwendungs-Knowhows und geistigen Eigentums von Cray Valley. Im Rahmen der integrierten Geschäftsbeziehungen und Lieferketten beliefert Polyscope nunmehr alle ehemaligen Kunden von Cray Valley in sämtlichen geografischen Regionen weltweit.

Polyscope Polymers gewinnt den JEC-Innovationspreis 2019 für die Applikation „Sunroof Roller-Blind Guiderails“
Polyscope Polymers B.V. (Geleen, Niederlande) ist der diesjährige Gewinner des JEC-Innovationspreises in der Kategorie „Automobile Anwendungen“. Die mit 15% glasgefüllte Materialtype XIRAN® SGH30EB von Polyscope, ist bei Renault seit 2016 in den Modellen Renault Scenic und Grand Scenic MPV gesetzt und für die Rollo- Führungsschienen der neu gestalteten Panorama- Dachmodule spezifiziert.

Immer mehr Polymere mögen es heiß – mit XIRAN® Wärmestabilisatoren von Polyscope
Polyscope, der weltweit führende Hersteller von Styrolmaleinsäureanhydrid-Copolymeren (SMA) erweitert die Palette seiner XIRAN® Wärmestabilisatoren. Ursprünglich eingeführt, um die Wärmebeständigkeit von Acrylnitrilstyrol (ABS) und Acrylnitrilacrylat (ASA) zu erhöhen, erweisen sich XIRAN Wärmestabilisatoren jetzt auch als erfolgreiche „Heat Booster“ für andere Styrol- und Acrylpolymere, wie Polystyrol (PS), Styrolacrylnitril (SAN) und Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA). Mit diesem umfassenden Sortiment an XIRAN Wärmestabilisatoren hat sich Polyscope als Pionier im Bereich der thermischen Stabilisierung technischer Kunststoffe etabliert.

Polyscope expands portfolio with XERAN® compatibilizers
Polyscope has broadened its portfolio of XIRAN® neat resins, compounds, powders and liquids with a range of XERAN® compatibilizers. The maleic anhydride functionality in these XERAN copolymers and terpolymers makes them extremely suitable as a compatibilizer and coupling agent in many applications.

Fortschrittliche Faltdachanwendung von Polyscope mit SPE-Innovationspreis ausgezeichnet
Die European Automotive Division der Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) hat die richtungsweisende Arbeit von Polyscope in der Entwicklung von Faltdachrahmen für Plattformen mittlerer und kleiner Fahrzeugserien ausgezeichnet. Auf der Gala-Präsentation der 15. SPE Central Europe Automotive Awards am 14.Oktober in Düsseldorf wurde der dritte Preis in der Kategorie Kfz-Außenbauteile für den Faltdachrahmen des Citroën DS3 vergeben. Der Rahmen wird aus einem glasfaserverstärkten XIRAN® Blend aus Styrolmaleinsäureanhydrid (SMA) und ABS aus der Entwicklung von Polyscope spritzgegossen.

Uwe Wascher, einer der Mitbegründer von Polyscope, wird von der European Automotive Division der Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) mit deren Lifetime Achievement Award geehrt. Die Auszeichnung wird von Vertretern der SPE offiziell am Montag, 21. Oktober, um 14:00 Uhr auf dem Polyscope-Stand E08 in Halle 5 der K 2013 überreicht.

Polyscope is proud to announce that it has won a Deloitte Best Company Award 2013.
