Alsbach, März 2001 – Langglasfaserverstärktes Polypropylen in kundenspezifischen Einstellungen erweitert das Produkt-Portfolio des Distributors RESINEX Deutschland GmbH. Hersteller dieser neuen, unter dem Typennamen FACTOR® angebotenen Werkstoffe ist die FACT GmbH, Kaiserslautern. Der Distributionsvertrag wurde zum 26.02.2001 wirksam.

Engel – well equipped for our globalized future
Injection moulding machines, automation systems, technology and service "made by Engel" are today an internationally recognized yardstick for economical and innovative plastics processing. The last business year 2000/2001, which in Austria ended on 31st March, was one of dynamic development and enormous growth for Engel. Of the total sales of EUR 589 million, well over half (61 percent) was generated in Europe. North and South America together accounted for approximately one third (32 percent) and Asia 5 percent. The remaining 2 percent were spread over Australia, Africa and the Near East. In high jump terms, the crossbar is at a record height and will take some beating in the coming business year.

Specialty stabilizers from Akcros Chemicals America now commercially available
Akcros Chemicals America recently made a range of new INTERSTAB® heat stabilizers designed for very specific flexible PVC applications more generally available to the industry as a whole. These liquid barium-zinc based stabilizers were developed at the specific request of a select group of North American processors and target several different critical specialty applications.
