DSM launches new resin to drive sustainable powder coatings for architectural and machinery applications
Royal DSM, a global science-based company in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living, today announced the launch of its latest Uralac® EasyCure resin, P 3225, for low-temperature and/or fast-cure powder coating applications for heavy machinery or architectural components. The new resin underlines DSM’s commitment to using its scientific capabilities to develop products with both higher functional performance and a higher sustainability value than conventional alternatives.

Perstorp’s capacity expansion for pentaerythritol at Arnsberg, Germany, to go on-stream in May
As the global demand for pentaerythritol (“Penta”) keeps growing, Perstorp is increasing the effective annual Penta production capacity at its Bruchhausen/Arnsberg plant in Germany by 12.5%. The Penta polyols are widely used in resins for coatings in the building & construction and steel works industry, from architectural wood to marine paints.

TE Connectivity enables luminaires without limitations with LUMAWISE Endurance S
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has introduced a new compact connectivity solution for street lighting with LED light sources. TE´s LUMAWISE Endurance S module consists of a standardized interface (Zhaga Book 18) between the receptacle and module base or sealing cap. It uses an integrated single gasket that can accommodate and seal both luminaire and module using the same connection interface for either 40mm or 80mm diameter central management systems.
