SABIC to preview first digital composites manufacturing line at JEC WORLD 2019, demonstrate versatility of UDMAX™ tape
SABIC will highlight the progress of its Digital Composites Manufacturing line, a breakthrough in automated digital system for rapid, large-scale laminate manufacturing, via a 360-degree virtual reality experience at JEC World 2019 (Hall 6, stand P12). Through its “Innovations of Scale” theme, the company is celebrating an important milestone for this major project, which will help industrialize thermoplastic composite laminates, enabling broader adoption of this material across industries, such as consumer electronics, aerospace, automotive, sporting goods, healthcare, and mass transportation.

Februar 2019 – Das Architekturbüro Mano de Santo Architecture & Design hat in Zusammenarbeit mit KMZero Open Innovation Hub, Teil der Martinez Group, Guardian Glass als Partner für die Gestaltung von Punta de Mar ausgewählt, das erste schwimmende, mobile Hotel-Appartement in Spanien. Das Startup Punta de Mar möchte damit den Erlebnistourismus auf eine neue Stufe heben. Der erste Prototyp dieser modernen Interpretation eines Hausbootes ist im Club Náutico in Denia am Mittelmeer platziert.

Clariant Chemicals nine monthly sales at Rs. 771 crore
Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited reported sales of Rs. 771 crore in the nine months of 2018-19, as against Rs.765* crore for the corresponding nine months of the previous year. The net profit stood at Rs, 19.34 crore as against Rs. 29.78 crore in the corresponding nine months of the previous year.

Clariant’s StyroMax® UL3 catalyst delivers excellent results at Shandong Yuhuang styrene plant in China
Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the successful performance of its StyroMax UL3 ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalyst at the styrene monomer production facility of Shandong Yuhuang Chemical (Group) Company. Located in Heze City, Shandong Province, China, the facility began start-up of the catalyst in March 2018, and already reports highly satisfactory results, with increased yields and greater production efficiency.

TE Connectivity (TE), ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Verbindungstechnologie- und Sensorlösungen, arbeitet mit Yamaichi Electronics (Yamaichi) zusammen, um ein neues Design mit Innenverriegelung für metrische M12-Push-Pull-Rundsteckverbinder zu entwickeln und im Markt zu etablieren. Diese Steckverbinder werden in verschiedenen industriellen Anwendungen eingesetzt. Ziel der beiden Unternehmen ist die Aufnahme dieses Designs in einen neuen IEC-Standard für M12-Steckverbinder mit Push-Pull-Innen-Verriegelung.
