TE Connectivity attends 2018 China International Industry Fair (CIIF)
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, will showcase four innovative solutions at the 2018 IAS-CIIF tradeshow at booth B053, National Exhibition and Convention Center, Hongqiao District, Shanghai. The solutions cover Renewable Energy Application, Motor Connectivity, Servo Drive and Industrial Robots. DSM brings additive manufacturing one step closer to industrial production with new carbon fiber filament
Royal DSM, a global science-based company in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living today announced its new carbon fiber filled grade PA6/66 filament Novamid® ID1030 CF10 for 3D printing. Despite the low carbon fiber loading of 10% - much lower than other carbon filled materials - it produces functional prototyping and industrial parts with properties close to what is usually achievable only by injection molding while matching the easy and fast printing of unreinforced plastics.

SABIC signs MOU with Clariant outlining intended transaction
SABIC, the world’s third largest diversified petrochemicals company, announced today that it is taking steps to establish certain elements of its Specialties business as a stand-alone business. The strategic purpose of this is to prepare the Specialties business to participate in further organic and inorganic growth, including a transaction under discussion with Clariant AG (“Clariant”), for which today both companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU would enable Clariant to create a new, “High Performance Materials” specialty chemicals business as an exceptional global platform for growth.
