Belden to Show Complete Rail IoT Solutions at InnoTrans2018
Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, will be showing an extensive portfolio of products for the rail industry at InnoTrans 2018 in Berlin that enhances operational safety and reliability as well as passenger comfort. The portfolio ranges from cables and connectors to network devices and firewall systems. These allow complete Rail IoT solutions to be implemented on board of trains, for train-to-ground communication, along the route, and at train stations, for instance. The trade fair highlights include the new BOBCAT switch which supports time-sensitive networking (TSN), a DIN-rail-mountable data diode for protecting critical Ethernet networks with unidirectional data traffic, the DRAGON PTN backbone switch developed for packet-oriented data transmission in wide area networks (WANs), and the latest version of Layer 3 backbone switches in the DRAGON MACH4000 series.

TE Connectivity launches easy-to-use poke-in connectors for smart home wall-mounted devices in BUCHANAN WireMate range
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, is introducing BUCHANAN WireMate Two-Piece Poke-In connectors to provide designers with a three-directional mounting solution for wall-mounted devices. The product features a panel mounted, poke-in style terminal block and a mating blade-style header to be attached to the PCB in the device. This two-piece combination allows for installation mounting to be “push-on” (into the wall), “slide-on” (along the wall), and “twist on” (rotating along the wall or ceiling). Applications such as thermostats and smoke detectors can be flexibly mounted in any direction now. TE’s new connector design allows a more convenient installation also for smart-enabled devices like control panels, security system interfaces, access controls and environmental monitors, among others.

TE Connectivity RPS commercial grade labels certified to withstand harsh environments
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announced certification of its rugged RPS commercial grade sleeves.
