TE Connectivity introduces Flex Grip wire connectors, enabling quick and easy wire termination
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has launched Flex Grip wire connectors for fast, flexible and easy wire termination. The new connectors, which accommodate solid and stranded wires between 24 and 14 AWG (0.2 – 4.00 mm²), feature an operating lever that allows releasable and reworkable wire termination. The transparent housings enable users to visually confirm the proper wire strip length and insertion for good electrical installation. With the built-in test slot, the installers can conveniently conduct the electrical test while keeping the wires terminated.

Clariant Catalysts and Shanghai Huaxi in strategic partnership on MTS hydrogen production in China
Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced that its Catalysts business unit has formed a strategic alliance with Shanghai Huaxi Chemical Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. regarding hydrogen production projects in China. According to the agreement, Clariant’s catalysts will be qualified and recommended for Shanghai Huaxi’s medium temperature shift (MTS) process licenses. Clariant will provide a range of catalysts for Reforming, Hydrodesulfurization, and the Water Gas Shift process. The deal combines Shanghai Huaxi’s advanced process technology with Clariant’s state-of-the-art catalysts to provide a highly efficient and economical solution for hydrogen producers.

Henkel offers Loctite tire bonding solution with outstanding adhesion for acoustic foams and integrated sensors
To pave the road towards next-generation automotive tires with effective cavity noise reduction and increased sensor technology, Henkel has introduced Loctite SI 5930 FIT, an RTV silicone rubber adhesive for in-tire bonding applications. The product provides excellent adhesion properties on all common tire rubbers and is compatible with different acoustic foams as well as tire release agents. As a MEKO-free and odorless solution it also meets strict HSE standards.
