Omron entwickelt neuen Maschinen-Controller mit Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI)
Omron Corporation (Sitz: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. Leitung: Yoshihito Yamada) kündigte heute die Entwicklung eines Maschinen-Controllers an, der mit künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) ausgestattet ist. Dieser KI-Controller erzielt als Erster seiner Art eine Echtzeitintegration der KI-Verarbeitungsfunktionen und der SPS-Funktionalität, die in der Fertigungsumgebung Produktionslinien und Geräte im Mikrosekundentakt steuert. Zur Überwachung des Status der Anlagen und Prozesse kommen Sensoren von Omron zum Einsatz. Somit wird eine sichere Steuerung durch den Controller gewährleistet, die Störungen unterbindet. Der Controller kann untypische Bewegungen von Maschinen vorhersagen.

TE Connectivity werkt samen met o.a. Shapeways en Fontys aan de toekomst
’S-HERTOGENBOSCH – 24 april 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), een wereldleider in connectiviteit en sensoren werkt vanaf nu officieel samen met Shapeways, Fontys en twaalf andere bedrijven. Deze samenwerking ligt op het gebied van praktijkgericht onderzoek naar additive manufacturing/3D printing en adaptive robots. Om deze samenwerking te bekrachtigen, hebben Mark Maas van TE Connectivity, Maarten van Dijk van Shapeways en Hans Nederlof van het College van Bestuur van Fontys ook het convenant ondertekend.

Studenten krijgen een ‘kijkje in de keuken’ bij de marketingafdeling van TE Connectivity
’S-HERTOGENBOSCH – 20 april 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), een wereldleider in connectiviteit en sensoren, hield een workshop over marketing als bijdrage aan succes in een B2B omgeving. Op 12 april kwamen 70 studenten van de Fontys Economische Hogeschool Tilburg (FEHT) op bezoek. Tijdens deze workshop kwamen verschillende facetten van het doen van marketing voor een internationaal, technisch bedrijf aan bod. Dit paste perfect in het straatje van de leerlingen, deze jongeren zijn namelijk bezig met hun studie International Business and Languages en International Marketing and Management.
