TE Connectivity Launches Lighting Subsystem Components for LED Street Lighting
HARRISBURG, PA., USA – November 10, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has expanded its offering in dimming receptacles, bases and covers for outdoor LED lighting. The ability to fully rotate the ANSI C136.41-compliant dimming receptacle allows the photo node to be pointed due north in order to optimize light capture, in street, parking area or roadway lighting applications.

ARLANXEO to increase prices for its Baypren (CR) products
Dormagen / Maastricht - ARLANXEO raises its prices for Chloroprene rubber and Chloroprene adhesive grades (CR) in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia. The price adjustments per metric ton for CR is up to 200 EUR or 230 USD and will be effective November 15, 2016. The measure is the result of the overall market- and cost developments of the past months.

Clariant unveils its most efficient styrene catalyst for ultra-low steam-to-oil ratio conditions
Munich, November 8, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the launch of its new high-performance ethyl benzene dehydrogenation catalyst StyroMax® UL3. Thanks to its proprietary design, the catalyst achieves outstanding activity and selectivity at conditions of ultra-low steam-to-oil ratio (also known as steam-to-hydrocarbon ratio, SHR). Thereby, it produces styrene monomer far more efficiently than many other state-of-the-art catalysts. StyroMax UL3 was officially launched at the Clariant Styrene Seminar 2016, which was held from October 12 to 14 in Xi’an, China.
