TE Connectivity signs a definitive agreement to acquire Intercontec Group
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – July 20, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire the Intercontec Group. The transaction is expected close end of September 2016, following the completion of customary regulatory approvals and the finalization of various administrative matters.

ELIX Polymers launches ABS 3D printing R&D project in collaboration with AIMPLAS
Tarragona, July 20, 2016 – A new “ABS 3D printing” R&D project initiated by specialty ABS producer ELIX Polymers aims to develop advanced versions of the terpolymer specifically for 3D printing using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), more commonly known as Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM). ELIX’s aim is to create materials that will produce parts with better mechanical properties such as resistance to impact, low warpage, dimensional precision and high resolution.

DSM’s EcoPaXX provides high hydrolysis resistance in components for automotive cooling systems
