DSM ENGINEERING PLASTICS INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE ARNITE PET XL GRADE FOR NEW XENON AFX MODULE IN DAIMLER S-CLASS
DSM has developed a new Arnite Low Outgassing PET XL Grade to specifically meet the needs of Adaptive Forward (AFX) Modules. The new material has been applied successfully in the production of a new Xenon AFX module for the new Mercedes S- Class, integrating additional features like Automatic High Beam Adjustment.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 23 ottobre 2009 – SABIC Innovative Plastics ha annunciato che LTK Industries, OEM leader nella produzione di cavi elettrici con sede a Hong Kong e cliente di lunga data, ha scelto di usare la resina eco-progressiva Flexible Noryl* di SABIC Innovative Plastics per le applicazioni AWM (Appliance Wiring Material) impiegate nell'elettronica di consumo. La resina autostinguente (FR, dall’inglese flame-retardant) supera il severo test di fiamma VW-1 dell’ente Underwriters Laboratories (UL), consente a produttori come LTK di soddisfare gli esigenti requisiti globali dei componenti privi di alogeni e offre un equilibrio praticamente perfetto tra le sue eccezionali prestazioni tecniche. Abbandonando il cloruro di polivinile (PVC), che in caso di combustione può rilasciare tossine pericolose, e affidandosi alla resina Flexible Noryl, LTK ha ulteriormente rafforzato la sua posizione di leadership globale nella fornitura di soluzioni per il cablaggio elettrico.

ABN-AMRO Bank and WarmCO2 sign a ‘green’ financing agreement of € 25 million
Terneuzen/Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 21 October 2009 – ABN AMRO Bank and WarmCO2, a joint initiative of port authority Zeeland Seaports, fertilizer producer Yara and infrastructure supplier Visser & Smit Hanab, have signed a ‘green’ financing agreement of € 25 million, as part of an overall financial investment of € 80 million. WarmCO2 is the first large scale sustainable energy project in the Netherlands to receive this ‘green’ financing.
