Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (Quadrant EPP), the world's leading manufacturer of engineering plastics in stock shapes (rods, sheets, tubes) for machining, introduces additional standard colours to its Radel® PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) Life Science Grade (LSG) portfolio. All Quadrant Radel PPSU LSG stock shapes are certified biocompatible according to ISO 10993, giving designers the confidence that their finished products will successfully past testing whilst at the same time allowing for faster product development at reduced costs. In addition, Quadrant offers lot traceability of its LSG stock shapes while traceability is typically available only for raw materials and guarantees consistency in formulations. Standard colours available now include black, natural (off-white), blue, green yellow, grey, brown, rust-coloured and red, whilst custom colours can be produced on request. NORTHROP GRUMMAN SELECTS MOOG TO PROVIDE FULL-SCALE AIRCRAFT FATIGUE TEST SYSTEM
AMSTERDAM, July 13, 2009 – Moog’s Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A), announced that Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has placed an order for a 160-channel test controller system to perform full-scale fatigue testing on the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. MOOG’S TECHNOLOGY MOVES RETRACTABLE ROOF FOR WIMBLEDON’S CENTRE COURT
AMSTERDAM, July 10, 2009 – Moog Industrial Group, a part of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), has put in place a high performance electric actuation solution that operates the newly installed retractable roof above Wimbledon’s Centre Court. Wimbledon’s staff closed the 1,100-metric-ton (1,212.50 tons) roof for the first time in competition on Monday, June 29 after a light rain stopped play during the second set of a match at Centre Court.
