Rapid Granulator AB presenta la nuova Serie 45 di granulatori. Caso unico nel loro genere, i granulatori serie sono stati progettati alla luce delle indicazioni emerse da un’ampia indagine svolta per sapere quali sono gli aspetti e le caratteristiche di un granulatore che gli utilizzatori considerano più importanti. La nuova serie, composta da tre modelli con bocca di carico rispettivamente di 450×600 mm, 450×900 mm e 450×1200 mm, è stata progettata in modo da soddisfare molti degli elementi evidenziati nell’indagine.

Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe appoints Technical Service Representative Foam Blowing Agents
Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe has appointed Mr. Tiziano Roveda as Technical Service Representative for its European foam blowing agents business, effective October 1st, 2002. In this role, Mr. Roveda will work closely with the company’s global technical support team to assist customers in Europe as they phase out ozone-depleting hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) blowing agents in polyurethane and extruded polystyrene insulating foam applications.

Interplas 2002 defies UK economic downturn
There has been considerable upheaval in the UK plastics and rubber industry since Interplas 1999 with a number of leading processing companies moving their production operations to countries with cheaper overheads and many others struggling for survival. A manufacturing recession as bad as any in living memory has been the principal cause for the industry’s difficulties, while the strength of the British currency has prevented export sales from providing any compensation for the downturn in local business.
