(TRS), the plastics industry’s newest and fastest-growing compounder of thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV’s), has announced that its fully colourable NexPrene® 1300 Series of TPV’s have been certified to meet ANSI/NSF Standard Class 61 for potable water contact materials/fluid delivery systems. The end use applications include fittings, piping and appurtenances. The approved water contact temperature is Commercial Hot (82° C or 180° F).
