PROTOTYPE FAST, REDUCE RESIN CONSUMPTION WITH SINGLE CAVITY NOZZLES

Bolton, Ontario, Canada – Built around the new Ultra Nozzle platform, Husky Injection Molding Systems has introduced a new line of single cavity hot runner nozzles. These latest hot sprues and single cavity valve gates can be incorporated into an existing mold within 24 hours of an order being placed.

“Husky’s new single cavity hot runners are designed for use in prototype molds or single cavity production tools,” says Martin Baumann, Marketing Manager, Husky Hot Runners. “The single cavity valve gate uses the same nozzle configuration and gate detail as our multi-drop hot runners, and they reduce resin consumption by eliminating the cold sprue.” The single cavity valve gate is easy to install and ships fully assembled. This assembly can include a custom machine nozzle interface and stem gate diameter if required. Husky’s single cavity valve gate is available in 10 different lengths with either VG or VX gating styles. It is offered in the Ultra 500 and 750 nozzle sizes.

The new hot sprues are an ideal option for thermal gating. These single cavity nozzles are available with the Ultra 250, 500 and 750 nozzles. All standard gating options are offered with the hot sprues and they are available in 10 different lengths.
