Gloucester, MA - Dynisco HotRunners has announced that it will become an independent operating entity, while remaining within the Berwind Group. This follows Berwind’s announcement that it has sold the Measurement and Control businesses of Dynisco, Inc. to Madison Capital Partners of Chicago, IL.

Barlo Plastics transfers production to ensure future growth and profitability.
Geel, Belgium June 19, 2001, Barlo Plastics Europe, announced the transfer of the entire production capacity from its Belgian site to other existing production facilities. Headquarters of the plastics division will remain in Belgium.

Athlone acquisition strengthens Barlo Plastics market lead.
Geel, Belgium January 2001, Barlo Plastics Europe, has today announced the take-over of the Irish company, Athlone Extrusions plc. Barlo Plastics Europe holds the European market lead in manufacture of transparent plastic sheets and Athlone deals in polystyrene and ABS sheet extrusion.

Utilising Omnexus’ advanced capabilities, leading German injection moulder IBS Brocke GmbH & Co KG, purchased 38,5 ton of polymer comprising Durethan and Novodur from Bayer AG.
