B.I.G. Yarns versterkt Europese marktpositie met aanzienlijke investering in ultramoderne garenproductie
B.I.G. Yarns, een toonaangevende ontwerper en fabrikant van tapijtgarens in polyamide (PA), polypropyleen (PP) en polyester (PET) voor commerciële, residentiële en technische toepassingen en voor gebruik in de autosector, kondigt met trots een aanzienlijke investering van € 25 miljoen in zijn Franse garenproductievestiging aan. Op die manier toont de onderneming nogmaals aan hoe sterk ze inzet op innovatie, duurzaamheid en produceren in Europa. De investering omvat de installatie van geavanceerde BCF-lijnen, die het leiderschap van B.I.G. Yarns op het gebied van 3-draads garens in één stap versterken en zijn reputatie als belangrijke speler op de wereldmarkt consolideren.

Inauguration of new specialty chemicals laboratory in Shanghai
Perstorp and BRB, wholly-owned subsidiaries of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad, inaugurated a new innovation hub in Shanghai, China. This advanced laboratory opened on April 17th and will support growth in the region by increasing technical support for customers with a specific focus on the Asian market. The new Shanghai innovation hub will allow faster response time to our customers and combine technical expertise with a strong focus on product and application development as well as technical services, strengthening regional customer relationships with dedicated regional support. It is one of several planned initiatives in the region to enhance innovation capabilities along the value chain and to strengthen PCG’s position as a leader within specialty chemicals.
