Avery Dennison® “Wrap Like A King” Challenge is back for 2021 - and open for vehicle wrap submissions
Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has announced the return of the Wrap Like A King Challenge. This year’s vehicle wrap competition will run from September 1st to October 31, 2021. A new special concept called ‘Local Edition’ has been launched for the first time, with awards for 12 Regional Wrap Kings and three Continent Wrap Kings.

BENEO vormt bezinkingsvijver om tot toevluchtsoord voor wilde dieren
BENEO, wereldleider in functionele ingrediënten, is gestart met een langdurig programma om te zorgen voor meer biodiversiteit rond de productievestiging in Oreye. Samen met de non-profit milieuorganisaties Natagora en Natagriwal zet BENEO zich in voor de transformatie van een oude bezinkingsvijver en het omliggende gebied tot een reservaat voor wilde dieren, zoals zeldzame vogels, bevers, vleermuizen, herten en kikkers. Het project zal bijdragen tot de bescherming van inheemse en bedreigde diersoorten in Wallonië en tegelijkertijd de lokale gemeenschap verrijken.

A case study at the University Hospital Basel confirms the high effectiveness of an antimicrobial coating on adhesive films
In a clinical study that lasted several months, the effectiveness of antimicrobial treated surfaces against hospital pathogens was examined under real-life conditions at the University Hospital Basel in Switzerland. The research team, headed by Prof. Dr. Andreas Widmer and Dr. R. Frei, confirmed that the Sanitized® treated adhesive film developed jointly with Hexis S.A.S. has 98 % effectiveness against microbes. The results were first published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal “Antimicrobial Resistance & Infection Control”. The study was supported by Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency.
