As of May 28 2019, Perstorp has obtained FCN 001967 (Food Contact Notification) from the FDA for the use of Pevalen™ as a plasticizer in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) polymers for use in repeated‐use food contact articles.

Clariant launches new masterbatches production facility to capture growing demand in China

Castellana 77, een duurzaam gebouw met een glazen gevel van Guardian Glass
Bertrange, Luxemburg, 23 mei 2019 – In het hart van het financiële centrum van Madrid, in de wijk AZCA staat Castellana 77, een gebouw dat twintig jaar lang buiten gebruik is geweest, maar dankzij luis vidal + arquitectos een nieuw iconisch leven heeft gekregen. De oorspronkelijke toren uit 1977 is nu een kantoorgebouw van 62 meter hoog die zich op zijn eigen bijzondere manier tegen de skyline van de stad aftekent. Na de restauratie is het gebouw de leider op het vlak van energie-efficiëntie en duurzaamheid en kreeg het de prestigieuze LEED-platinum certificering. De glasproducten met hoge prestaties van Guardian Glass voor de gevel droegen bij tot het behalen van deze LEED-certificering.
