Nieuwe methode om medicijnen in oog af te leveren gaat klinische testfase in
Geleen – 05 juni 2018 - een van de oogprojecten van het Chemelot Institute for Science and Technology (InSciTe) heeft toestemming gekregen van de Inspectie Gezondheidszorg en Jeugd (IGJ) om de klinische testfase te starten. Binnen het zogenoemde Ocular Coil Drug Delivery Comfort Trial-project (OCDC) is een innovatieve manier ontwikkeld om medicijnen in het oog af te leveren. Het OCDC-project is het eerste publiek-private ontwikkeltraject binnen InSciTe dat binnen 3 jaar de klinische fase bereikt heeft. Een mijlpaal voor de projectpartners als ook voor InSciTe.
