Mondi introduce NextLiner - il primo release liner al mondo sostenibile per carta PCK
Mondi, leader mondiale nella produzione di carta e imballaggi, ha sviluppato il primo release liner basato su PCK sostenibile che verrà lanciato su scala globale. I release liner sono indispensabili per trasportare e proteggere materiali adesivi sensibili alla pressione (PSA). I release liner, allo stato attuale, una volta terminato il loro utilizzo, vengono eliminati nei rifiuti industriali. Il NextLiner di Mondi usa carta riciclata ricoperta da resine rinnovabili. L’impiego di fibre riciclate e materiali rinnovabili determina un impatto positivo sull‘impronta di carbonio (carbon footprint) del NextLiner, utilizzato come release liner nelle arti grafiche, nella produzione di nastri adesivi e in altre applicazioni industriali.

Mondi launches gaming app about workplace safety
Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has launched a health and safety app as a new way to communicate to its colleagues on wellbeing in the workplace. Mondi Corrugated Solutions has launched the app to raise awareness of workplace safety rules in an accessible and entertaining way. The app entitled HEADS UP! is free to download for all Mondi employees and the general public.

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions Europe ha avviato una collaborazione strategica con Lampe Textiles, e diventerà l’unico distributore delle pellicole window film autoadesive in tessuto Squid per l’industria grafica in Europa, Medioriente e Nord Africa (EMENA). Ciò significa che queste pellicole innovative saranno a disposizione dei clienti di Avery Dennison da settembre 2020.

Cementing the deal: Mondi acquires two paper bag lines and signs exclusive supplier agreements with leading cement producers in Egypt
Mondi Paper Bags, part of Mondi Group, a leading global packaging and paper manufacturer, has acquired two paper bag lines from Helwan Cement Company and InterCement Sacs, two major cement producers in Egypt. The acquired production lines will increase Mondi’s capacity by approximately 60-80 million bags annually and strengthen Mondi's position in the Middle Eastern bag market, particularly in supporting suppliers to the construction industry.

Safe and sustainable: Archman adopts DOMO Chemicals solution in new gardening tool
Archman srl, an Italian manufacturer of scissors for viticulture, horticulture, and gardening, has chosen DOMO’s ECONAMID® AIR for its HELIUM Electric Tree Pruner. An extremely light tool, weighing only 1,630g, the cutting body of the new product is moulded with the sustainable PA6 based compound with carbon fiber.
