Owens Corning Duplicará La Capacidad De Fabricación De Tejidos Técnicos En Brasil Para Que Sus Clientes Puedan Satisfacer La Demanda Mundial De Energía Eólica
SÃO PAULO, Brasil: 9 de diciembre de 2009 – Owens Corning ha anunciado hoy la instalación de máquinas tejedoras de fibra de vidrio en su fábrica de Rio Claro, al noroeste de São Paulo (Brasil), lo que duplica su capacidad de fabricación de tejidos técnicos de fibra de vidrio. Una parte de la nueva capacidad comenzó la producción en septiembre; el resto se instalará a finales de año.

Otto applicazioni automobilistiche realizzate con i materiali high-end di SABIC Innovative Plastics conquistano i massimi onori agli Innovation Awards 2009 della SPE
BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 7 dicembre 2009 – Le applicazioni automobilistiche realizzate con materiali all'avanguardia SABIC Innovative Plastics hanno ricevuto ben otto riconoscimenti nell'ambito del concorso Automotive Innovation Awards 2009 della Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE): quattro vincitori, uno di loro si è aggiudicato l'ambito premio Hall of Fame, e quattro finalisti. Le applicazioni vincenti, che comprendono pannelli di carrozzeria, protezione per l’urto pedone, illuminazione, finiture degli interni e cablaggi, evidenziano l’ampio spettro di possibilità applicative offerto dai materiali termoplastici di SABIC Innovative Plastics nel campo automobilistico. Operator Consoles for Mobile Applications in Harsh Environments
The modular concept of the iSCOUT operator consoles from Hirschmann™ provides customized solutions at an optimized price/performance ratio. Specially designed for the Scalable Mobile Control System from Hirschmann™, the consoles meet the requirements of both EN ISO 13849-1 and the new European Machinery Directive. They will be available in three versions: A Monitor-Console for cost-effective solutions, with the graphical CPU integrated in the control system; a Stand-alone version with integrated graphical CPU and standard PLC communication link; and a Console with integrated PLC control as compact solution for small applications. All three new models support Ethernet and various CAN protocols. The versatility of the components and their rugged design lend the Scalable Mobile Control System – which also comprises controllers of the iFLEX series – a perfect application fit in cranes and other mobile machines.
