CHEMTURA INCREASES METAL ALKYL PRICES
Due to continued operational and capital cost demands, Chemtura Corporation will increase the prices of the neat portion of its aluminum alkyl products by 25%. Pricing for the neat portion of its Magnesium and Zinc alkyl products will be increased by 100%. These price increases will be effective April 1, 2007, or as contracts allow. For solvent blends, higher solvent purchase costs will be reflected in the blend pricing.

HOLLIDAY PIGMENTS ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE IN THE LATIN AMERICA REGION
Holliday Pigments, the world’s largest manufacturer of ultramarine pigments, has announced a price increase of up to 30% across all their product ranges, in the Latin America region from February 2007.
Ulsan, Korea, January 16, 2007 – Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. announced today that the construction of its second dedicated manufacturing site for the production of phenolic and phosphite antioxidants is ahead of schedule and the plant start-up is now set for April 2007. Consistent with Songwon’s manufacturing strategy to provide economy of scale and security of supply, the project includes the back integration of key raw materials. In the first phase, this new manufacturing site will increase the Songwon capacity to about 55.000 tons, a 60% increase over the current capability. A second phase of expansion is already planned to bring total capacity to 80.000 tons and will be implemented as soon as the market demand will justify it.
As a result of continued growth and market acceptance for the Alphasan® silver inorganic antimicrobial technology, Milliken Chemical Europe (a business unit of Milliken Europe N.V.) has invested in a new Microbiology Laboratory, to expand their technical service offering to customers.
