PureCycle Technologies fête le succès de la mise en application d’une technologie pionnière de recyclage des matières plastiques. 
(Photo: PureCycle, PR002)CHICAGO (26 septembre 2019) — PureCycle Technologies a annoncé ce jour avoir réussi à transformer des déchets de tapis issus de son unité d’évaluation des matières entrantes (Feedstock Evaluation Unit ou « FEU ») en résine de polypropylène ultra-pure (UPRP), transparente et inodore, grâce à une technologie exclusive de recyclage des matières plastiques inventée et mise au point par Procter & Gamble (P&G). Le passage à l’échelon supérieur de cette technologie ouvre de nouvelles possibilités de valeur ajoutée à un large éventail de déchets de polypropylène (PP) qui pourront être restaurés à leur état initial de matière vierge. Cette technologie va se traduire par une nette progression de la demande de déchets PP et va contribuer à proposer des alternatives à la mise en décharge contrôlée et à l’exportation des déchets plastiques.
