Omron présente le contrôleur de la série NX1 qui intègre le contrôle et l'information
Omron Corporation (HQ : Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. PDG: Yoshihito Yamada) a annoncé en avril la sortie mondiale de son nouveau contrôleur d'automatisation de machines de la série NX1 qui augmente la productivité tout en tirant parti de l'information. Omron lancera l'unité d'entrée analogique haute vitesse NX-HAD4*1 et l'unité centrale de sécurité NX-SL5*2 qui peuvent être utilisés avec la série NX1, aidant à relever les défis de l'innovation en matière de fabrication, y compris le renforcement du contrôle de la qualité et des mesures de sécurité flexibles.

Tritium signs deal with IONITY for 100 high-power charging sites across Europe
IONITY has chosen Tritium as its technology partner for the construction of 100 high-power charging sites across Germany, France, UK, Norway and Sweden. The dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will have an average of up to six user units, each capable of delivering 350 kW of power for fast charging of modern EVs. All equipped with the Combined Charging System (CCS) used by a wide range of vehicle manufactures.

Omron brings real-time EDGE-AI control to the factory floor
On stand B32 at this year’s PPMA show, Omron will showcase a new solution that adds artificial intelligence (AI) functionality to packaging and processing machinery for real-time control that provides an instant reduction in waste and machine downtime. The AI controller is based on a machine learning engine (MLE), which is incorporated into Omron’s Sysmac control platform (on both PLC and IPC) and monitors multiple signals simultaneously to detect potential anomalies (faults) and determine the appropriate response. The whole calculation can be accomplished in under a single machine cycle, minimising any disruption to the operation of the line.
