Moog renforce la sécurité de son système de contrôle-commande du pas des pales d’éoliennes certifié par le TÜV Rheinland et abaisse leur coût énergétique
East Aurora, NY, USA, 18 octobre 2017 – La société Moog (NYSE : MOG.A et MOG.B), qui conçoit et fabrique des produits et des solutions de contrôle-commande de mouvement à hautes performances, Moog (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), a reçu la certification de sécurité du TÜV Rheinland pour son nouveau système de servocommande de pas «Pitch Servo Drive 3». TÜV Rheinland est un prestataire international de services d’essais et épreuves, spécialisé dans la sécurité de fonctionnement. Le nouveau Pitch Servo Drive 3 de Moog a pour fonction d’assurer la sécurité de fonctionnement des éoliennes. À cet effet, il modifie le pas des pales de l’éolienne au niveau du moyeu du rotor afin de minimiser le couple appliqué sur les pales par le vent et d’éviter ainsi à l’éolienne de tourner trop rapidement. De ce fait, le système de servocommande Pitch Servo Drive 3 entre dans la catégorie des composants de sécurité.
