Les pièces médicales réalisées avec le polypropylène stabilisé chaleur, Proteus LSG HS PP de Quadrant, résistent à des cycles répétés de stérilisation en autoclave et à la vapeur. Cela est rendu possible grâce à la température de fléchissement (HDT) de plus de 149 °C (> 300 °F) sous une charge de 0,455 MPa (66 psi). Le matériau, très résistant aux agents de nettoyage, désinfectants et divers solvants, peut ainsi être employé pour la production de plateaux chirurgicaux, de chariots et composants d’instruments utilisés dans diverses applications de l’industrie des sciences de la vie. Pourtant, de telles pièces sont souvent difficiles à mouler par injection, en raison de leur complexité et de la viscosité élevée de la résine.

Gigabit Ethernet via M12 Ports
The new Gigabit OCTOPUS from Belden’s Hirschmann™ product range is a managed IP54 switch that was especially developed for road and rail vehicle applications that require fast data connection. To this end the switch has two Gigabit Ethernet uplinks for twisted-pair cables (1000 BASE-TX) connected via vibration-proof M12 ports. Eight Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 BASE-TX) are provided for connecting terminal equipment. These are also designed for M12 connectors and support PoE. They make it possible to power equipment such as IP cameras, Voice-over-IP phones or WLAN Access Points without the need for additional cables. The switch also offers various management and security functions plus fast redundancy protocols. It can thus be used to install high-availability Gigabit backbones in public transport vehicles, for instance giving passengers fast internet access during their journey.
