On January 21st 2002, Victrex plc. launched its new-look multi-lingual website at www.victrex.com. The website has been designed to support Victrex and PEEK™ polymer operations globally, with focused regional content in local languages. In addition to improving the site layout, Victrex has focused on making it as easy as possible for customers to access information and technical support for its range of PEEK™ polymers.

Owens Corning pose les premiers jalons de son Automotive Solutions Center
TOLEDO, Ohio, le 8 janvier 2002 – Owens Corning a annoncé que son activité industrie automobile sera dorénavant implantée à Novi, au Michigan, en vue de se rapprocher des ses clients basés à Detroit. Un nouveau centre d’activités de 5.300 m2 ouvrira ses portes au second trimestre. Les constructeurs automobiles et fournisseurs de Metro Detroit accéderont aisément au centre situé à Beck West Corporate Park, 46500 Humboldt Drive.

SOKRAT® 6474 Polymer Wins Award for Best New Product at Czech Chemtec Praha 2001
SOKOLOV, CZECH REPUBLIC, Jan. 4, 2002 - SOKRAT® 6474 acrylic dispersion for architectural low-VOC trim paints, developed and produced by Eastman Sokolov, a.s., received the Golden Chemtec award at Chemtec Praha 2001 in October. This award is for the best new product at the exhibition. SOKRAT® 6474 is a pure acrylic core shell dispersion for use in architectural trim coatings.

Deux nominations importantes à la haute direction d'Omnexus
Atlanta, Georgia - Omnexus, marché électronique international du secteur du plastique, a annoncé deux nominations marquantes à sa haute direction, avec l'intention de poursuivre sur la voie de la croissance en 2002. Le directeur d'exploitation actuel, Michael Walsh, a accepté le poste de directeur général intérimaire après avoir tenu les rênes de la Société au quotidien depuis le mois d'août 2000. Reinhard Katz, Ph.D., membre du conseil d'administration d'Omnexus, a été promu président du conseil d'administration.
