KRAIBURG TPE ha introducido una nueva serie de elastómeros termoplásticos (TPE) para mangueras utilizadas en el ámbito de las instalaciones sanitarias y del agua potable. Los innovadores productos cumplen desde hoy la directiva KTW-BWGL, que impone condiciones más estrictas y es obligatoria para los TPE en este mercado a partir de marzo de 2025. Sus características facilitan el procesado y permiten suministrar mangueras con superficies sumamente lisas, propiedades mecánicas optimizadas y muy escasa tendencia al estrangulamiento por flexión. Los nuevos compuestos serán presentados en la feria Fakuma 2023.

ELIX Polymers ha desarrollado un ABS de bloqueo de la luz hecho a medida para garantizar una iluminación precisa y una luz controlada sin fugas a las cámaras vecinas. El panel de control de una lavadora es una parte importante del diseño y la funcionalidad de este tipo de electrodomésticos, que se utilizan a diario en muchos hogares.

Leading specialty chemicals innovator Perstorp has launched a new grade of 2-Ethylhexanol (2-EH), now available with 100% renewable, traceable mass-balanced carbon content. When including the biogenic CO2 uptake[1] absorbed by the renewable raw materials used, the product has a negative carbon footprint cradle to Perstorp gate. Developed based on both physical and chemical traceability, 2-EH Pro 100 is designed to minimize the carbon footprint[2] throughout the value chain, while supporting sustainable sourcing of renewable and recycled raw materials.
